Σήμερα είναι μια σημαντική μέρα για τη Γκράβα. Η Γκράβα είναι μια γειτονιά (neighbourhood · quartier) της Αθήνας. Εκεί υπάρχουν πολλά σχολεία (schools · écoles) μαζί. Σήμερα τα σχολεία ανοίγουν (open · ouvrent) ξανά.
Στις 9 Οκτωβρίου, κάποιοι μύρισαν (smelled · ont senti) αέριο (gas · gaz). Το αέριο είναι επικίνδυνο (dangerous · dangereux). Γι' αυτό τα σχολεία έκλεισαν (closed · ont fermé). Για σχεδόν έναν μήνα (month · mois), τα παιδιά έκαναν μάθημα (lessons · cours) από το σπίτι, με τον υπολογιστή (computer · ordinateur).
Τρεις ομάδες (teams · équipes) με ειδικούς (experts · spécialistes) έκαναν ελέγχους (checks · contrôles). Δεν βρήκαν καμία διαρροή (leak · fuite). Την Πέμπτη, ο δήμος (city council · mairie (conseil municipal)) πήρε μια απόφαση (decision · décision). Τα σχολεία ανοίγουν τη Δευτέρα.
Όμως το αέριο θα μείνει κλειστό (turned off · fermé (coupé)). Έτσι, τα σχολεία δεν έχουν ακόμα θέρμανση (heating · chauffage). Πρώτα θα γίνουν κάποιες εργασίες (works · travaux). Η θέρμανση θα επιστρέψει (come back · revenir) ως το τέλος (end · fin) του Νοεμβρίου.
Ο δήμαρχος (mayor · maire), ο Χάρης Δούκας, έστειλε ένα γράμμα (letter · lettre) στους διευθυντές (head teachers · directeurs) των σχολείων. Τους ζητάει βοήθεια (help · aide), για να νιώθουν όλοι ασφαλείς (safe · en sécurité).
Today is an important day for Gkrava. Gkrava is a neighbourhood of Athens. There are many schools together there. Today the schools open again.
On 9 October, some people smelled gas. Gas is dangerous. That is why the schools closed. For almost a month, the children had lessons from home, on the computer.
Three teams of experts carried out checks. They found no leak. On Thursday, the city council made a decision. The schools open on Monday.
But the gas will stay turned off. So the schools do not have heating yet. First some works will be done. The heating will come back by the end of November.
The mayor, Haris Doukas, sent a letter to the head teachers of the schools. He asks them for help, so that everyone feels safe.
