Ο Δήμος (municipality · municipalité) Αθηναίων έχει ένα νέο σχέδιο (project · projet). Φέρνει νέα λεωφορεία (buses · bus) στην πόλη. Το όνομά (name · nom) τους είναι «Athens Move». Τα λεωφορεία είναι ηλεκτρικά (electric · électriques). Δουλεύουν με ρεύμα (electricity · électricité), όχι με πετρέλαιο (diesel · gazole).
Θα υπάρχουν 17 λεωφορεία και 4 νέες γραμμές (lines · lignes). Οι γραμμές θα έχουν 185 στάσεις (stops · arrêts). Θα περνούν (will pass · passeront) από γειτονιές (neighborhoods · quartiers) όπως η Κυψέλη, τα Πατήσια και τα Πετράλωνα. Σήμερα δεν περνούν αρκετά (enough · assez) λεωφορεία εκεί.
Ο δήμαρχος (mayor · maire), ο Χάρης Δούκας, μπήκε σε ένα λεωφορείο στο Σεράφειο. Έκανε μια πρώτη δοκιμή (test · essai). Λέει ότι όλοι οι κάτοικοι (residents · habitants) πρέπει να έχουν καθαρές (clean · propres) και φτηνές (cheap · bon marché) μετακινήσεις (getting around · déplacements). Έτσι, οι άνθρωποι θα παίρνουν λιγότερο (less · moins) το αυτοκίνητο (car · voiture).
Τα νέα λεωφορεία δεν παίρνουν τη θέση (place · place) του μετρό ή του τραμ. Βοηθούν (help · aident) τις άλλες συγκοινωνίες (public transport · transports). Το σχέδιο κοστίζει (costs · coûte) 11,75 εκατομμύρια (million · millions) ευρώ. Τα πρώτα λεωφορεία θα ξεκινήσουν σύντομα (soon · bientôt).
The Municipality of Athens has a new project. It is bringing new buses to the city. Their name is "Athens Move". The buses are electric. They run on electricity, not on diesel.
There will be 17 buses and 4 new lines. The lines will have 185 stops. They will pass through neighborhoods like Kypseli, Patisia and Petralona. Today, not enough buses go there.
The mayor, Haris Doukas, got on a bus at Serafeio. He did a first test. He says that all residents should have clean and cheap ways of getting around. That way, people will use their cars less.
The new buses do not take the place of the metro or the tram. They help the other public transport. The project costs 11.75 million euros. The first buses will start soon.
